About Me

HeadshotI am a Teaching Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Denver.

I received my PhD in Psychology from the University of Michigan, my MA from Brandeis University, and my BA from Colorado College. I spent one year as Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at Amherst College. Additionally, I spent time as a visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

To date, my research and teaching interests have all been under the umbrella of identity or culture, and often the interaction between the two. I am primarily motivated by a commitment to improving intergroup and interpersonal relations through an understanding of the complexities of identity and culture.
